PoolSleuth

Information we collect

When you use PoolSleuth, we may collect: photos you upload to identify a part; any details you type about the part; and, only if you ask us to find a part near you, the contact information you choose to provide, which may include your zip code, phone number, and email address. We also collect basic, anonymous usage analytics to improve the service.

How we use your information

We use your information to identify the part in your photo, to help locate a replacement near you, to contact you about the request you submitted, and to improve the accuracy and quality of the service. Uploaded photos may be retained to improve identification accuracy.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your phone number and check the consent box, you agree to receive text messages from PoolSleuth about your part request and its availability. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can get help by replying HELP. Consenting to texts is not a condition of using PoolSleuth.

We do not sell or share your phone number or your SMS consent. Mobile information, including text messaging opt-in and consent, will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers to run PoolSleuth, such as hosting, database, email, and text-messaging vendors, and they may process your information only to provide those services to us. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your choices

You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us to delete the information you submitted by emailing us at the address below. You can use the part-identification feature without providing any contact information at all.
